Worship at The U
We have two worship venues at various times here at The U:
Traditional Worship
Sundays @ 8:15, 9:30 & 11 am | South Sanctuary
Our Traditional Worship services feature favorite hymns led by the Chancel Choir, Orchestra and our various handbell choirs. Relevant scripture-based messages come from the University Clergy Team with Directing Pastor, Rev. Charles Anderson, serving as primary teacher.
Contemporary Worship
Sundays @ 9:30 & 11 am | North Sanctuary & Gym
Our Contemporary Worship services feature fresh music, videos and other creative elements to provide a holy place to encounter our God. The service is led by Worship Leader, Mark Swayze and Teaching Pastor, Rev. Ryan Barnett.
Midweek Worship
Wednesdays @ 6:15 pm | South Sanctuary
Drs. Greg Robertson and Dick Cheatham share in leading a brief service of healing and renewal on Wednesday evenings, following the community shared supper. Greg and Dick believe that by the middle of the week, many of us feel like this unknown poet—somewhat battered and bruised by conflict; somewhat weary, and perhaps a bit dirty from the struggle. They offer a time and setting where spiritual healing and renewal may occur.
